On June 10, 2025, the Inaugural Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association (HGBA) officially took place, marking the beginning of its first term (2025–2030). The event welcomed a large number of delegates, including leaders from government departments, industry experts, and members of the business community committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly development.
As part of the Congress proceedings, in a spirit of democracy and responsibility, the election of the Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term was conducted. A total of 52 members were elected to the Committee, representing a wide range of economic sectors, yet united by a common goal: to build a green business community focused on innovation and sustainable growth.
The Executive Committee will serve as the core driving force behind HGBA’s action programs—fostering connections, supporting members in their green transformation journey, promoting the adoption of clean technologies, and encouraging corporate social responsibility in business operations.
The establishment of HGBA marks a significant milestone in Ho Chi Minh City’s green economic development strategy. It also contributes to realizing Vietnam’s national commitments to sustainable development and climate change adaptation.
